Narine Kotenko (Наринэ Котенко) was sanctioned with an eight year ban from 14 November 2026 for competing whilst banned for a second time. The eight year ban will be added to a previous eight year ban issued in November 2018, after the Powerlifting Coach was sanctioned for use or attempted use of a prohibited substance; tampering with doping control; complicity; and competing whilst banned. She will now be ineligible until 14 November 2034.

A third Powerlifter, Oleg Gorbunov (Олега Горбунова), was sanctioned with a two year ban from 29 October for the same offence. It is not known if the three Powerlifting cases are connected.
