• Joko Driyono will be Acting Chairman after Edy Rahmayadi resigned as Chairman of the Indonesian football association (PSSI). “I have resigned not because I am irresponsible, but because I am responsible”, said Rahmayadi in a statement. Late last year, the PSSI banned second division club PS Mojokerto Putra from the upcoming season, after finding it guilty of fixing three matches. The PSSI determined that the club had fixed games against Kalteng Putra on 3 and 9 November, as well as a 29 November game against Gresik United. It also issued a life ban to PS Mojokerto Putra striker Krisna Ari Darma, as he was found to have intentionally missed a penalty in a 19 November game against Aceh United. The PSSI also confirmed that Johar Lin Eng, a member of its Executive Committee, is facing investigation by the police over match-fixing allegations.
• The Chair of the FIFA Ethics Committee has rejected an appeal from Keramuudin Karim, President of the Afghanistan Football Federation, against a provisional suspension imposed by FIFA whilst it investigates allegations of sexual abuse. Karim and five other officials were suspended by the Afghan FA due to the allegations.
• Kaillie Humphries, a triple Olympic medalist, has filed a harassment claim with Bobsleigh Canada, reports CBC. On 7 October, Humphries announced that she was stepping away from the sport in a post on Twitter. Humphries did not reveal what type of harassment claim she has filed, and Bobsleigh Canada told CBC that it will keep details confidential until its investigation is complete.

• The Austrian Anti-Doping Commission (ÖADR) has sanctioned a jockey, a horse and the person responsible for that horse with bans, after Lini’s Little Speedy tested positive for phenylbutazone and oxyphenbutazone. Jockey Eva Schönberger was sanctioned with a two month ban from 23 October (click here to download decision). Lini’s Little Speedy and Michaela Bachleitner, a trainer, were sanctioned with a six month ban (click here to download decision).
