The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has overturned an eight year ban issued to Islam El Shehaby (إسلام الشهابي), a three times Olympian and nine times African champion judoka, the Egyptian announced on Facebook (see below). It is understood that the eight year ban was issued by the Egyptian national anti-doping organisation (EGY-NADO) last year. El Shehaby said that compensation awarded in his favour would be donated to EGY-NADO.
