The Olympic Council of Asia today issued a statement regarding the second positive doping case at the 18th Asian Games. This is to announce that the following athlete, Ms. PUREVDORJ, ORKHON of Mongolia, a competitor in the wrestling competition has been found to have committed an anti-doping rule violation in an in-competition test conducted on 20th August 2018 and has accordingly been disqualified from the 18th Jakarta-Palembang Asian Games 2018.
Her results during the competition held on the 20th August 2018 has been annulled. She competed in the women’s freestyle 62kg class and was judged as the gold medallist in the Event. Her urine sample showed the presence of Stanazolol, which is a prohibited substance under the category S1.1A Exogenous Anabolic Androgenic Steroids of the WADA Prohibited List 2018.
