Following a circular vote of its Foundation Board members, WADA announces that it has removed the Anti-Doping Committee of Israel from the list of signatories previously deemed non-compliant with the 2015 World Anti-Doping Code (Code). The Anti-Doping Committee of Israel has now drafted and adopted anti-doping rules in line with the Code.
At WADA’s 18 November 2015 Foundation Board meeting, six Code Signatories were declared non-compliant. As stipulated in Article 23.5.5 of the Code, WADA then reported the declarations of non-compliance to the Sports Movement and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
