The Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB) received this morning in Japan, through the Brazilian Doping Control Authority (ABCD), notification of the provisional suspension for a potential anti-doping rule violation (ADRV) by athlete Tandara Caixeta, from the women’s volleyball team. The test was carried out during the out-of-competition period at the sport’s training center in Saquarema, on 7 July.
Tandara will return to Brazil. The women’s volleyball team competes in the semifinal match of the Olympic Games against South Korea this Friday evening, 6 August, at 9:00 pm in Japan (9:00 am in Brazil).
