• Saudi Arabian weightlifter Mustafa Radha Almulad has reported an adverse analytical finding (AAF) for exogenous testosterone and the 5α Adiol, the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) announced. 

• Italy’s national anti-doping tribunal (TNA) has provisionally suspended baseball player Alessandro Vaglio after he returned an adverse analytical finding (AAF) for stanozolol from a 14 July out of competition test, announced Italy’s national anti-doping agency (NADO Italia). Vaglio plays for Bologna in the Italian Baseball League.

• Ukrainian sprint canoeist Oleksandr Senkevych has been sanctioned with a four year ban for an anti-doping rule violation (ADRV) involving meldonium, the International Canoe Federation (ICF) announced. Senkevych will be banned from 22 October 2019 until 21 October 2023.
