The International Natural Bodybuilding Association (INBA) Australia has doubled the length of its Anti-Doping Policy, which will come into effect on 1 January 2015, from 54 pages (2009) to 102. ‘Essentially if you are truly natural (and you should be) you have nothing to worry about, however if you are one of the people who insist on taking banned substances and competing in a 100% natural association then it’s going to be harder than ever to get away with it’, read a 7 November statement.
‘Many of the new changes are procedural and tighten up loopholes and in plain English, it means if you get caught, you are going to get punished. INBA Australia is very proud of our relationship with ASADA [Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority] which is the oldest and longest running in natural bodybuilding in Australia. We’ve been partners since day one and with the signing of the latest contracts we will march into the future arm in arm and be even more effective.’
