A hearing was held this afternoon at the offices of the CAS Ad hoc Division in Pyeongchang, Korea from 1.00pm – 3.30pm KST in the case of 32 Russian athletes v. International Olympic Committee (IOC) (procedure CAS OG 18-02). The hearing has been adjourned and will reconvene at midday on Thursday, 8 February 2018. The IOC has been granted a deadline until 9.00am on 8 February 2018 to file written submissions.
When the hearing reconvenes, the Panel will continue to hear the cases of the 32 athletes together with the second case filed on 7 February 2018 by 15 Russian athletes and coaches (procedure CAS OG 18- 03). The Panel’s decisions are expected to be announced either late in the evening of 8 February 2018 or in the morning of 9 February 2018.
